Our older pupils have been busy representing the school this week. 24 of them visited Luctonians RFC on Tuesday and they all returned with a medal! One team won the plate whilst the other group were runners up in the vase. With 40 teams in attendance, we were extremely proud of all of the players as they reached two of the finals, having been victorious in their quarter and semi-final matches.
With our Y6 pupils in London, our Y5 cricketers attended Ludlow Cricket Club on Wednesday for a boys tournament. They played exceptionally well and came third overall. It's the girls turn next week!

EFL Cup tournament hosted by Shrewsbury Town in the Community - 29th January 2022
We were incredibly proud of our footballers on Saturday when they won the Shrewsbury Town tournament. They beat St. Giles School 4-3 in the first game having been 2-0 down after just two minutes. The children showed tenacity and grit and always believed in themselves. They then beat Baschurch Primary School to book a place in the northern finals of the tournament which will be held at Accrington FC in March. The winners of this tournament will progress to Wembley.
